Looking for a fun-filled weekend in Sydney's Surry Hills? Look no further than Goro’s for an unforgettable night out, as we look closer at their limited edition Cherry Bomb event - one of the limited run events in Sydney you won't want to miss. Goro’s is known throughout Sydney as a jam-packed venue for #drinks, #karaoke, and even arcade #games, therefore visiting during this event is a must! Arriving earlier in the evening, you’ll find that Goro’s operates like your typical #bar, with plenty of seating throughout the main room of the venue to enjoy a wide variety of #cocktails and #Japanese bites. Goro’s Takoyaki and Karaage chicken was extremely popular at my table and defiantly paired well with our drinks. Cherry Bomb extends Goro’s classic menu by including spring-themed dishes such as pink sushi and sakura daifuku.

Once 9 pm hits, staff will remove some of the tables to make way for a dance floor where music will be pumping well into the night. For the Cherry Bomb event, Goro’s has extensively decorated the main dance room and bar with pink lanterns, sakura branches, and ‘Koinobori’ - Japanese carp kites, to truly celebrate the Japanese cherry blossom season. The warm and colorful ambiance of Goro’s would defiantly allow for some great Instagram shots.

If you're looking for the best #cocktails to try in Sydney, Goro’s in Surry Hills should be on your list. Their Cherry Blossom cocktail, made with gin and cherry blossom essence, is not only delicious but also stunning to look at. Served in a delicate glass, it's the perfect representation of the cherry blossom theme of the event. And if you're a fan of fruity #cocktails, you can't go wrong with the Watermelon Poppu, which features rum, watermelon, and boba pearls. The bright pink color of the drink, along with the playful addition of the boba pearls makes this drink a boba-lover’s dream. Overall, the #cocktails at Goro’s are not only tasty but also beautifully crafted.

Whilst Cherry Bomb's new food and drink menu is reason enough to visit, their happy hour is also sure to convince you. From 5-7 pm every Wednesday to Friday, you and your mates can enjoy $7 house spirits, and beers paired with $1 dumplings. In this economy where finding super cheap happy hours is becoming more challenging, this deal could save your weekend and save you cash!
