Fro-licking at Yo-Chi Sydney

If you’re like me, after-uni feeds are often the best part of my day, and those close to campus are a bigger bonus. Luckily for a few unis in Sydney, Surry Hills is super close, and Yo-chi is super convenient, a 2-minute work from Surry Hills light rail station. For those in the North-West, they have also recently opened in Macquarie Centre and are the perfect late-night snack after your night drive vibes.

The interior of Yo-chi is spacious and brightly lit and has a huge open area for you to view all the frozen yogurt flavours and decide which ones to try. There are bright and colourful neon signs, creating a vibrant and buzzing atmosphere. Just a warning, Yo-chi tends to build up a crowd at night, so make sure you get in quickly to beat the buzz and not wait for ages in line to satisfy your cravings.

For my lactose intolerant foodies, to my relief- there were also dairy-free options for a consequent-free yogurt snack. My favourite part of all frozen yogurt stores, particularly Yo-chi is the wide assortment of toppings. They have some unique ones, such as Organic Vegan Cookie Dough, Raspberry Coulis sauce, and all the generic acai bowl toppings so you can make your own acai bowl if you decide to pop in after a run. There is comfortable seating (with blasting ac) for the perfect relaxing spot to come in with friends, and even have a membership so that you can be rewarded for trying to create your perfect frozen yogurt bowl combination.
